Unsuccessful Neighbourhood Plans and Neighbourhood Development Orders
Some communities have produced either a Neighbourhood Plan or Community Development Order which the examiner recommended did not proceed to referendum. They are then classed as unsuccessful.
Shilton
Shilton Parish Council submitted a Draft Community Right to Build Order (Neighbourhood Development Order) to us in April 2018. It was found by an independent examiner not to meet the required Basic Conditions as set out in the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. The examiner issued a recommendation that the Shilton Community Right to Build Order should not proceed to referendum and therefore the Order is deemed to be unsuccessful.
